Our History
Prodisee Pantry opened November 18, 2003, as an outreach ministry. The ministry expanded and was incorporated as an independent tax-exempt 501(c)(3) non-profit charity in 2005.
Following Hurricane Katrina in August 2005, the Pantry sent out more than 16,000 emergency food boxes and other relief supplies valued at several million dollars all along the Gulf Coast. Today, Prodisee Pantry has become a “HUB of HOPE” in the community, with support from churches, organizations, individuals and businesses throughout the region.
2023 marks our 20th year of filling the plate of our neighbors in need with healthy foods and filling their hearts with HOPE! Who would have imagined our growth? Baldwin County families have visited Prodisee Pantry 205,500 times for food. We hope you will join us as we celebrate this milestone!
